I’m not sure why someone sent this in; the letter didn’t say.  But it came straight from Japan.  “Encourage Japan with a Smile”… can you believe that?  They’re amazing.  A smile?  That’s it?  I’d be sending people frantic letters like, “MAYDAY, GUUUYS!!”

You know, you’d be hard-pressed to find a smiley face anywhere near an earthquake relief T-shirt, were this tragedy here in LA.  Believe you me.  People would be charging an arm and a leg for sad sack celebrity shirts, with pictures of Lady Gaga and Madonna and Bono and Brangelina, buildin up houses and buyin up babies. 

Actually, that’s not true.  “I LA” T-shirts would skyrocket, is what would happen.  Might be wise to get in on the ground floor before the big one hits.  Hm.  Don’t steal that idea.  Ugh, I’ve been here too long.
